Project Manager

We currently have an opening for a Project Manager. Our Project Managers are responsibilities for detailing and preparing submittals, setting up project schedules, maintaining budgets, purchasing, managing contract, change orders and success of the project. The roles require extraordinary job performance to ensure consistency in execution, accuracy and excellent communication skills and a high degree of construction management skills to drive efficiencies and on time and in budget job completion. In addition, they provide frequent real-time updates to various departments at various levels as well as managing and scheduling direct reports to meet or exceed all customers’ expectations both internal and external. Allied is focused on new construction projects that include health care, food and beverage, hospitality, defense, aerospace, industrial, institutional and multi-family projects throughout Florida.  

These position work in conjunction with our Sr. Management Team to ensure compliance with meeting contract deadlines, ensure quality control standards, on time delivery and meet budgets. In depth knowledge and management is required of hollow metal doors, wood doors, architectural hardware, access control and construction management. Complete knowledge of the industry’s supply chain and the fluid and fluctuating changes in today’s manufacturing environment using factory lead times alongside in house production times to build production and shipping schedules.

  • At least 3 years of direct supervision of others 
  • 3 or more years’ experience working in a challenging environment in the door and hardware industry. 
  • 3 years’ experience with Comsense Enterprise and Advantage. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Estimating and or Project Management, Fulfillment Operations and Supply Chain principles and practices (preferred) 
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge and/or experience (preferred) 
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement. 
  • Data Gathering and Analysis – Use company technologies to improve operations. 
  • Project Management – Ability to plan and manage projects and processes as well as allocate resources and monitor progress. 
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to articulate department needs to other functional areas both inside and outside. 
  • Goal Driven 
  • Ability to influence, motivate and guide a diversified group of team members to achieve business goals and utilize a continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Strong analytical skills and extremely comfortable working with data and spreadsheets 
  • Fact Based Management to drive business decisions, business goals and continuous improvement. 
  • Effective organizational and planning skills and can execute on plans/ideas. 
  • Strong written, verbal and people skills 
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, Comsense and routing and information systems
